Life's Like That

I realise that going to school isn't that bad after all. I really enjoyed myself today.Went to school around 11am. Met Alicia near LT 25 there. There's the Halloween celebration at the Student's Hub. Went there to take photographs but in the end I was chatting with her most of the time. Was talking about how fun secondary school was and all the things we used to do. Haha..and we realise there's actually we have a lot in common.

Meet Ee Lin and Mun Lok for lunch again around 1pm. Eat in Science this time coz we'll be having lecture at 2pm and considering how 'fast' I can eat, it's better not to travel so far. Haha..But I actually finish quite fast. Still got time for us to sit there and joke joke.

2pm. Time for Biochem lecture. And as usual he have the Life's like that story.
Story 1
There was this sign board which show "Here fresh fishes are sold at cheap prices" in front of a shop which sells fishes. Then came an Englishman. He told the owner, 'See. You put the sign board right in front of your shop so obviously fresh fishes are sold here. So the word 'here' is redundant.' So the owner deleted the word here and the sign became "Fresh Fishes are Sold at Cheap prices" Then came another man who told the owner, 'Look. You can't possibly sell rotten fishes here so the word 'fresh' is redundant.' So the owner took off the word and the sign became "Fishes are Sold at Cheap Prices". Another man came by and told the owner, "Okay. You cannot sell expensive fishes here so the words 'cheap prices' are redundant. So the owner remade the sign and it became "Fishes are sold". A last man walked past saw the sign and told the owner, "What else can you sell besides fish, so the words 'fishes are sold' are redundant'. The owner remove those words and finally he's left with a BLANK sign board.
Lessons learnt: In life there's are many things that we cannot accept people's advice blindly. Make careful consideration before deciding.

Story 2
Bill Gates died and went to the upperworld. As he was at the crossroad between heaven and hell. He met St Peter. St. Peter told him that he have done a lot in easing people's work through the use of computers. But at the same time, he had also some bad things including monopoly of the market. So he's allowed to chose where he want to go - Heaven or Hell. Bill Gates was thinking how he can outsmart St. Peter so he suggested that if he could make a trip to the two places before deciding. St. Peter agreed and Bill Gates went to visit hell first. He saw sunny beaches with people wallking around enjoying themselves. Then he went over to heaven. He saw people wearing white. Sitting and reading. Nothing much special. So he decided that he'll go to hell. St. Peter said, "Are you sure? You can't change your decision after this." Bill Gates answered, "Yes. I'm very sure. I will like it in hell." Thus, St. Peter brought him to hell and this time he saw people are being tortured and caned. Bill Gates was confused. He asked, "What happened to the scence before this?" St. Peter answered, "Oh! That was the SCREENSAVER."
Lessons learnt: Don't see things from the surface. Understand the situation.

Lecture ended quite late. Just nice for us to go for Genetics lecture. Dr. Chew gave us a lot of thinking questions today. Haih..I was super blur coz I have no idea what kind of answer he wanted. Super hard. Anyway, lecture ended exactly at 6pm. So we went for dinner after that. I tried the Mee Hoon Kui. Not bad. But it's very thick. Not sure if it's suppose to be like that. And while eating we were talking about this weekend's F1 race. So sad I can't watch it again. It's going to be shown at 1am and we have Chem lecture the next day. Yea so just have to wait for the results on Monday morning. Yeap and Gerard sent us home again. Hehe..was walking around looking for the car coz his dad drop the car at the carpark. Luckily the carpark was quite empty already.
