Please [do this] by this Friday 6-Jan-2012. I will do spot check and will report to XXX those who do not [do so] by 23.59 this Friday 6-Jan-2012.Got this e-mail from my fellow colleague. I was rather offended by the e-mail. I've been doing this for the past 3 years and we never had any problems with it. So why all of a sudden, there's a need to do spot check and report to XXX? Where's the trust that we have always had? I guess if he framed the e-mail in a nicer way, I'll gladly comply and get it done by the deadline. I totally agree on why we need to get it done by then. But "threatening" your fellow colleague with that is just not right. I think the second sentence is superfluous. Please trust your fellow colleague, they have been doing this as long as you do if not longer. I really do not wish to receive this kind of e-mail any more.
